Call for selection go to indexgo upgo down
Every year, approximately in the month of July, a Call for selection for doctoral places in Environmental Engineering is issued. It is published on the Gazzetta Ufficiale della Repubblica Italiana (Official Italian Republic Gazette) in Italian, but it will be available also in this web site together with an English translation. There are normally a minimum of 6 places, of which at least 5 with grant.
Admission Requirements go to indexgo upgo down
Applications for the doctoral positions are invited from candidates, regardless of sex, age and nationality, who have either an Italian "laurea" (five year course), or a "laurea specialistica" or an equivalent degree qualification obtained abroad.
Applicants who have a foreign qualification that has not been officially recognised as equivalent to the Italian "laurea" must attach any relevant documents (degree certificate with exams and grades obtained) to enable the Doctoral School Committee to declare its equivalence, for the sole purpose of attending this doctoral programme. The above documents must be officially translated by the Italian Embassy in the country of origin (N.B. it is a criminal offence to provide incorrect or incomplete information; any applicant found to have done so will be automatically rejected).
Applications are also invited from students who expect to complete their degree by the date of the examination. In such cases admission will be "conditional" and the applicant must be able to present the relevant degree certificate, or a declaration that the degree has been conferred, by the date of the examination. Otherwise, the applicant will lose the right to be admitted to this doctoral programme.
