In charge of management of the e-mailing list of Italian Chemical Society
In Naples he gave courses of Physical Chemistry and his research interests were in the thermodynamics of liquid solutions, mainly diffusion coefficients in multicomponent solutions.
From 1989 he works in the field of surface characterizations with contact angle and atomic force microscopy. He has published about 100 papers of which about 60 in international journals.
