MultiTemp 2001

Conference Topics

The workshop will be conducted in two days with four sequential sessions (two sessions per day). Adequate time between presentations will allow discussion of the papers being presented. At the end of each session, a round table discussion should address the main topics considered in the presentations and should provide recommendations on the future research directions.

Papers will be solicited in the following topic areas:

  • Registration techniques and reduction of registration noise
  • Correction and calibration algorithms for multi-temporal images
  • Supervised and unsupervised change-detection techniques
  • Detection of spectral changes and land-cover transitions
  • Understanding changes
  • Shape change detection
  • Updating of geographic information
  • Change detection in hyperspectral data
  • Data fusion in the analysis of multi-temporal images
  • Classification of multi-temporal images
  • Assessment of performances in change detection
  • Applications
The session titles will be decided on the basis of the submitted papers.

An invited speaker will introduce each session. To-date, two speakers have agreed to deliver a lecture: Prof. D. Landgrebe (Purdue University, USA) and Dr. R. Lunetta (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, USA).
